Today, CHI is officially reaching 5 years in business. I am very proud of what we have achieved together over the past five years and all these successes would not be possible if we did not have the support from the clients, partners, and friends. I want to take a moment to express my thanks and share with you some of our accomplishment on this special day.
CHI was founded in 2016 with the vision of improving the quality and safety of design and construction and extending the service life of bridges and structures. The team originally consisted of only one member, me, and has grown to be a team of nine full time staff over the past five years. I am truly grateful to have a highly capable, professional and dedicated team, including four with PhD Degrees in engineering and four with Professional Engineer licenses.
Since its formation, CHI has provided great expertise in bridge design, construction engineering, forensic investigation, and BIM/3D modeling for major bridges in the U.S. and internationally. One of our projects, High Load Jacking Frames for Pin and Hanger Replacement at the Robert Moses Causeway (Fire Island, NY), won the Platinum Award in the Structural Systems category on the 2020 Engineering Excellence Awards from the ACEC New York. Recently, CHI was chosen among “Top 10 Bridge Tech Solution Providers 2021” by Construction Tech Review.
